Every day It is possible to visit Vesuvius throughout the year but it is preferable to avoid the winter period when, due to unfavourable weather conditions, access is often closed. It is reccomended you to plan this adventure in spring or autumn when you can fully enjoy the landscape that, like a bewitching painting, takes on colours and shades typical of the season. In the Visits to Vesuvius, the most requested excursion by tourists is the path towards the crater and therefore the arrival at the Gran Cono del Vesuvio, is not a particularly tiring excursion, it is suitable for everyone and does not require trekking preparation. If instead you are interested in visiting Vesuvius from other angles, enjoy the views and the flora and fauna of the Vesuvius National Park you can choose other excursions that require more time and certainly more training in mountain trekking.
